Nights of San Lorenzo in a work tribute to my two San Lorenzo: San Lorenzo de El Escorial where I lived for many years, and my other San Lorenzo, the one in Seville, where the Christ of the Great Power is venerated. Each movement has a different flamenco air: soleá por bulerías, soleá and slow sevillanas preceded by a nod to a processional march.
Personally I have a special love for this work. It is one of the most appreciated of my catalog by flamenco guitarists.
Composed in 1993.
Ideal work for recital and contest.
